Southern rapper Waka Flocka Flame recently reflected on his
relationship with Young Money star Nicki Minaj while she was under his
mother Debra Antney's management over the past few years.


Despite her overall secks appeal, Waka said Minaj's determination would not allow her to get involved in intimate relationships.


"She probably learned some sh*t off me and I learned a lot off her,"
Waka explained in an interview. "We've been around. That's what got her
blown up--she can connect to her fans...Everybody was trying to f*ck
her. Everybody. Nicki wouldn't mess with anybody. I swear to God, she
came here focused. Came all the way here focused. She was smashing
tracks. Every track she on, she had the hardest verse." (RESPECT)


Flocka also said his relationship with Minaj was deeper than music.


"I'm not gonna lie, she was always with Young Money, though. She was
with our squad, but she love her team. That's why I f*ck with her,
because she'll never bite the hand that feeds her. She recognizes who
helped her, and Shorty worked. We were stupid, stupid close.
Everything, we would always be together, coming over for watching TV.
We'd eat Hot Pockets and sh*t, Nicki's like [makes weird noise]. She's
just funny as f*ck. She cool, though, a relaxed person, a chill person.
She's always on the Internet. She channeled me into f*ckin' with the
fans." (RESPECT)


Last summer, the "O Let's Do It" hitmaker shared his reaction to Minaj and Gucci Mane leaving Antney's management this year.


"I can say when you start getting hot, there are a lot of people that
get in your ear. I call that the devil. It'll turn you against the
people that helped you. They must have just felt like they needed a
change. Maybe they felt like other people can take their career
somewhere else. I don't know. Just like LeBron [James] going to the
Heat. I ain't mad, though, or got problems with anybody. Moms is good;
her bills are paid...Yeah, [it affected my relationship with Gucci] all
the way. All the way. I ain't got beef or anything but it has changed.
We don't talk anymore. Nicki is still my homey, though. I got her
number and can call her whenever. My momma ain't got no problems with
her or anything either. Let's make that clear." (VIBE)


Flocka's mom previously addressed Minaj's decision to part ways with her.


"I am the person that put it out that she did a cease and desist letter
or whatever that sh*t is that she did," Antney said in an interview. "I
put that out, she didn't put that out. She never said anything, that
was to stop people from continuously calling me to let them know I no
longer have her. She chose not to be with me. That's why I do sh*t on a
handshake. People out there might say that's a sucker, but I'm not,
that's who I am. You don't want to be with me, you're gone free. Do
whatever it is you want to do, good-bye...I love Nicki, I love Nick and
I wish her all the success in the world. You don't have to stay with
