Disney x Vans “TRON: Legacy” SK8-Hi
From New Era and Burton to Opening Ceremony and Medicom Toy, Disney’s gone to great lengths to promote the highly anticipated release of TRON: Legacy this December. The Mickey Mouse company has collaborated with a long list of tastemakers from the fashion, art and toy industries to license all sorts of promotional products honoring the futuristic sci-fi flick. Their latest movie-based product comes from the hands of Vans, who whipped up this TRON: Legacy SK8-Hi for Disney’s campaign. Using the colors most associated with the movie, the sneakers feature a Black canvas base, Aqua accents on the leather stripe across the side of the upper and Silver on the lining. To make things official, TRON: Legacy is printed on the tongue tag and a Disney tag is fastened to the backside of the tongue, marking the shoes as an officially licensed TRON: Legacy product. It’s unknown whether or not the sneakers will release in the US, but those in Japan can watch for for them to drop through ABC-Mart. READ MORE
